PUNISH CIVIL SERVANTS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSSES -TI-M

PETALING JAYA: Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) has urged serious efforts to be made to penalise errant civil servants responsible for the non-compliance that has resulted in the wastage identified in the Auditor-General's 2012 Report.

TI-M president, Datuk Akhbar Satar warned that the country will continue to suffer more losses annually if no serious effort was made to remove the "dead wood" who adopt a lackadaisical attitude towards their job and the public funds they manage.
